From hand-spun milkshakes to more convenient health care, there’s even more on the horizon for Jubilee residents to experience closer to home with a host of local businesses slated to open soon nearby, including a new 25-acre retail village set to break ground this summer at the intersection of Hwy. 290 and Mason Road—a straight shot east on Hwy. 290 for Jubilee residents.
Texas-based developer Trademark Property Co. announced plans in March for the new Dunham Pointe retail center featuring confirmed tenants such as:
- an unnamed national organic grocer
In The Market at Cypress Green—another new retail center along FM 2920 and Bauer Road near Jubilee—upcoming tenants include:
- an unnamed urgent care provider
- a dentist
- The UPS Store
Next door, permits have been filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for Cypress Green Academy, a new daycare facility, to open at 22221 FM 2920, Hockley. Construction is slated to wrap up at the end of July on the new 11,878-square-foot building.
Within Jubilee, construction is underway for the Children’s Lighthouse of Hockley-Jubilee, a new early education option for infants through school-age students expected to open in early 2027.
Less than 3 miles from Jubilee, Cup of Grace Bakery & Coffee Shop is planning to begin serving coffee, pastries, smoothies, and more soon at the newest coffee shop on Hempstead Highway.
Off Becker Road, SMS Self Storage is opening soon, and Donut Delight #7 is under construction on Warren Ranch Road just outside Jubilee.
Within the Houston Premium Outlets, Sephora is opening a new store this spring. Nearby on Hwy. 290, Agavi Dental Studio is planning to open in May.
Boosting services available locally for residents, Houston Methodist kicked off a $104 million expansion to its Cypress hospital in March that will add medical and surgical beds, intensive care beds, operating rooms, an endoscopy suite, and an inpatient dialysis suite.
With foodies in mind, several new eateries and cafes are coming soon to the area, too:
- Taco Palenque is bringing its tacos, burritos, fajita plates and bowls to Hwy. 290 in late 2026.
- P. Terry’s Burger Stand is opening in late April off Bridgeland Creek Parkway.
- Coco Crepes & Coffee will serve up sweet and savory crepes, waffles, paninis, and more when it opens this summer on Elyson Exchange Way.
- Haraz Coffee House will also bring its Yemeni coffee selections, frappes, lattes, and fruit refreshers to a new location on Elyson Exchange Way later this year.
